Proseguiamo il viaggio in Sicilia con “Etna Calling” di Femina Ridens, per poi tuffarci in una sezione variegata di recensioni. Vi portiamo dall’Irlanda di Aoife Ní Bhriain e Cormac McCarthy, il cui “Cosán Casta” è il nostro disco consigliato, al nuovo folk britannico dei Leveret (“Lost Measures”) fino alla voce profonda della libanese Tania Saleh (“Fragile”). Gracing our cover is Roxana Ene: she shares the story of her Roman-Romanian-Romani soul on the occasion of the Nubras concert at the Festival Popolare Italiano. Our journey continues in Sicily with Etna Calling by Femina Ridens, followed by a deep dive into a diverse reviews section. We take you from the Ireland of Aoife Ní Bhriain & Cormac McCarthy – whose “Cosán Casta” is our recommended album – to the new British folk of Leveret (“Lost Measures”), and on to the deep voice of Lebanese artist Tania Saleh (“Fragile”).
