“Caminos”, di Luca Congedo e Fabio Turchetti — per l’occasione in quartetto con Flavio Bertipaglia e Alberto Proietti Gaffi — è la storia di copertina di questa settimana. Turchetti, polistrumentista e compositore cremonese, racconta questo nuovo album dedicato al Cammino di Santiago, senza però trascurare uno sguardo alla sua magmatica produzione artistica, che negli ultimi anni lo ha visto collaborare con numerosi musicisti. Il nostro viaggio in Italia prosegue con il disco consigliato della settimana: “Raìse”, della travolgente blues & rock woman veneta Elli de Mon. Offriamo poi una pletora di album trad & world: “Luohteniegut” del trio sàmi-finlandese Áššu, “Hirusta” del trio basco Besaide, “Wild Green” degli britannici iyatra Quartet, “Azadi” della canadese Tamar Ilana & Ventanas, “Inner Spaces”, frutto del sodalizio tra l’americano-iracheno Amir ElSaffar e l’italiano Lorenzo Bianchi Hoesch, e “So Kono”, che segna il grande ritorno della star maliana Salif Keita. Segue il ricordo di Roberto Sacchi, giornalista e musicista, figura centrale per il movimento folk in Italia, noto per essere stato lo storico direttore di FB- Folk Bulletin. Infine, lo scatto di Valerio Corzani ritrae il bassista Pierpaolo Ranieri.

Turchetti, a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Cremona, invites us on a new musical journey inspired by the legendary Camino de Santiago. Along the way, he reflects on his rich and ever-evolving creative path, shaped by years of collaborations with a diverse range of artists. Our musical journey through Italy continues with our top album pick of the week: “Raìse”, the bold new release from Veneto’s own blues and rock powerhouse, Elli de Mon.
