Apriamo le pubblicazioni di ottobre con il disco del mese, “Sepè Le Mokò”, l’ultimo album di Daniele Sepe, esplora i temi delle colonne sonore dei film di Totò. Nell’intervista il sassofonista e compositore napoletano parla delle sue più recenti scorribande musicali, approfondisce la storia del suo omaggio al Principe De Curtis e alle magnifiche note che accompagnano i suoi film e annuncia sue future avventure soniche. A seguire la pagina trad e world, con le recensioni di “Cross the Rolling Water” di Hannah Read & Michael Starkey, “Amdjer” di Lucibela e “Star Feminine Band in Paris” della Star Feminine Band. We open October’s issues with the album of the month, “Sepè Le Mokò”, Daniele Sepe’s latest release, where he explores the themes from the soundtracks of Totò’s movies. In the interview, the Neapolitan saxophonist and composer speaks about his latest musical raids, dives deep into the story of his homage to Principe De Curtis and the magnificent film scores to accompany his movies, and announces his future sonic adventures. This is followed by trad and world sounds, with a bunch of reviews, that is Hannah Read & Michael Starkey’ s 2Cross the Rolling Water', Lucibela’s “Amdjer” and Star Feminine Band’s “Star Feminine Band in Paris”. For live music, you’ll find the chronicles of Oumou Sangaré’s concert at the Festival au Désert in Florence and the Meridian Brothers’ gig at the Je t’aime Festival in Padua. Accompanied by songs and narrations we travel along the course of the Aniene river with Simone Saccucci’s "Dejj’arbole. Canti e storie dalla Valle dell’Aniene”. We then review Cesari Malfatti’s “I Catari di Monforte a Milano” and by Giulio Bianco’s “Delayed”. Finally, Valerio Corzani’s photo presents Arnaldo Antunes.
